{"id":16660,"date":"2018-09-19T07:03:17","date_gmt":"2018-09-19T06:03:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/2018\/09\/19\/eiffage-energia-se-adjudica-la-infraestructura-electrica-de-la-mayor-planta-fotovoltaica-de-europa\/"},"modified":"2022-02-17T14:46:57","modified_gmt":"2022-02-17T14:46:57","slug":"eiffage-energia-is-awarded-the-electrical-infrastructure-of-the-largest-photovoltaic-plant-in-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/en\/2018\/09\/19\/eiffage-energia-is-awarded-the-electrical-infrastructure-of-the-largest-photovoltaic-plant-in-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"Eiffage Energ\u00eda is awarded the electrical infrastructure of the largest photovoltaic plant in Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eiffage Energ\u00eda will be in charge of the construction (EPC) of the electrical infrastructure of <strong>\u00a0Spain and Europe\u2019s largest photovoltaic solar plant<\/strong>, the PV plant in Mula, located in the Region of Murcia.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laverdad.es\/murcia\/otros-municipios\/verde-instalacion-mayor-20180209093149-nt.html\"><strong>Mula plant will have a capacity of 500MW<\/strong><\/a>, occupying an area of almost 1,000 hectares and producing more than 750 million kWh per year, enough power to supply a city the size of the capital of Murcia.<\/p>\n<p>This new work executed by Eiffage Energ\u00eda will consist of two parts:<\/p>\n<p>The construction of an underground high-voltage line pf 132kV between the Secondary Substation and the Main Substation of Mula Solar PV plant, with a line length of approximately 3 km.<\/p>\n<p>And the second, consists of a 400 kV line for the power output of the Mula PV Plant, with two sections: one underground and one overhead line.<\/p>\n<p>In this last part, the project is based on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/lineas-actividad\/infraestructuras-electricas\/\"><strong>construction of a 400kV high-voltage line<\/strong><\/a> between the Main Substation of the Mula PV plant and the El Palmar Substation. The project\u2019s scope is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; An overhead line of about 21 km, with 64 supports and LA-280 HAWK SC DX + 2 OPGW15 conductors. It starts at Main Substation of the Mula PV plant and ends at transition pylon no. 64 from overhead to unground.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; An underground line of about 300 m in length, between the transition pylon no. 64 and the Main Metering Point adjacent to the El Palmar electrical substation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Construction of Main Metering Point (with Current and Voltage Transformers) annexed to the El Palmar Substation.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Eiffage Energ\u00eda will also be responsible for the construction 5 overhead crossings of the Plant\u2019s MV collection system.<\/p>\n<p>Its experience in high voltage lines has made Eiffage Energ\u00eda one of the most specialized companies in this field at a national and international level.<\/p>\n<p>The Mula solar plant is expected to be fully operational in 2019.
