{"id":18498,"date":"2019-02-07T08:10:11","date_gmt":"2019-02-07T07:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/2019\/02\/07\/eiffage-energia-participa-en-un-proyecto-del-cdti-que-permitira-prevenir-incendios-forestales\/"},"modified":"2022-02-17T15:04:42","modified_gmt":"2022-02-17T15:04:42","slug":"eiffage-energia-leads-a-cdti-project-that-will-prevent-forest-fires","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/en\/2019\/02\/07\/eiffage-energia-leads-a-cdti-project-that-will-prevent-forest-fires\/","title":{"rendered":"Eiffage Energ\u00eda leads a CDTI project that will prevent forest fires"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A consortium of companies, among which is <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/\">Eiffage Energ\u00eda<\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdti.es\/\"> as the consortium leader, has obtained from the <\/a><\/strong><strong>CDTI<\/strong> (Centre for Industrial Technological Development) grants aimed at promoting regional R&amp;D cooperation (<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdti.es\/index.asp?MP=100&amp;MS=806&amp;MN=2\">INTERCONECTA FEDER (ERDF) Programme<\/a><\/strong>) for the development of a project based on the design and development of an <strong>innovative Intelligent Management System for<\/strong> the Maintenance of Photovoltaic Plants and High Voltage Lines and Forest Mass Analysis in High Voltage Lines (IMSM).<\/p>\n<p>This R&amp;D&amp;I project aims at intelligently and comprehensively managing the maintenance of equipment and facilities in the two areas of application of the project (<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/lineas-actividad\/energias-renovables\/\">photovoltaic plants<\/a><\/strong> <strong>and <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/lineas-actividad\/infraestructuras-electricas\/\">high voltage overhead power lines<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/drones-la-apuesta-innovadora-de-eiffage-energia\/\">) through optimal monitoring of them by means of <\/a>drones, obtaining an innovative system of automatic and intelligent flight planning that allows the acquisition of real-time data.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/drones.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-18112\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/drones-1024x704.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"478\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Among the tools and functionalities that will be developed within the scope of the project, it is important to mention that, because a large percentage of high-voltage overhead installations are next to forest masses, the new solution will be <strong>able to prevent and avoid possible forest fires<\/strong> produced by sparks originating in those installations, through the development of techniques for forest masses and tree recognition as well as vegetation growth models that will allow mapping the high-voltage lines and making an estimate of preferential treatment times, thus contributing to the improvement of the current clearing and logging systems.
