The underground cable is being laid in three parts. From the Gis substation, passing through the sloping pit access gallery; the installation of 300 vertical metres in the pit; and the transformer cavern gallery. A total of around 900 supports will be installed, where the cables will be housed in their final positions, and around 9000 metres of 400-kV cable will be laid.<\/p>\n<h3><b>T\u00e2mega Hydroelectric Complex<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3-whMxxsZvU This project is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iberdrola.com\/conocenos\/lineas-negocio\/proyectos-emblematicos\/proyecto-tamega\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">T\u00e2mega Hydroelectric Complex<\/a> being developed by the Iberdrola group in northern Portugal. It includes three plants: Gouv\u00e3es, Daiv\u00f5es and Alto T\u00e2mega, with a combined capacity of 1,158 MW. This is an engineering project at the highest level to build the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.energias-renovables.com\/panorama\/la-gigabateria-del-tamega-aportara-casi-900-20200130\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">largest gigabattery in Europe<\/a>. The Gouv\u00e3es plant will be reversible, i.e., it will make it possible to store water from the Daiv\u00f5es reservoir in the Gouv\u00e3es reservoir.
