Our Mechanical Installations Department in the Central Zone is undertaking the project to equip and electrify Well G-7, located in Brunete, and connect it to the main trunk network for Canal de Isabel II\u00a0<\/a> in Madrid.<\/p>\n\n

This project aligns with sustainability goals and the integral water management cycle, as it is situated within the well field operated by Canal de Isabel II in the Guadarrama River Basin. The public water company in Madrid operates over 70 wells, providing alternative resources to ensure a stable water supply for the Community of Madrid during periods of water scarcity, while maintaining environmental balance.<\/p>\n\n

Innovation and technology at the service of water<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Well G-7, located in Brunete, forms part of this strategic water infrastructure. Through electrification and automation, the installation ensures that groundwater is captured and managed efficiently, supporting the sustainability of the integral water cycle in the Community of Madrid.<\/p>\n\n

Canal de Isabel II is committed to adapting to water scarcity challenges and integrating advanced technology into its water management processes. This project exemplifies the commitment of Eiffage Energ\u00eda Sistemas<\/a> to innovative, sustainable solutions that offer long-term value by equipping and electrifying the well and incorporating it into the main distribution network.<\/p>\n\n

Synergies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The project also involves our subsidiary, Inelbo, whose EMS Department is responsible for control panels, automation, and system programming. Additionally, the Central Zone Networks Department is managing the medium-voltage aspects of the project, while the Industrial Maintenance Department is overseeing graphic project tracking through orthophotos.<\/p>\n\n

Maintenance of electrical installations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Alongside this contract, from 2023 to 2027, we are also responsible for the maintenance of various low-voltage electrical installations in administrative buildings, headquarters, and external facilities of Canal de Isabel II.<\/p>\n\n

This specifically includes preventive and corrective maintenance for low-voltage electrical installations in offices, pump stations, control centres, commercial offices, and other facilities where Canal de Isabel II staff carry out their daily activities.<\/p>\n\n
