The complex is spread across three plants in the municipalities of\u00a0<strong>Minglanilla, Graja de Iniesta and Puebla del Salvador (Cuenca).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This is part of the ongoing collaboration with\u00a0<strong>Sonnedix<\/strong>, following the success of the project\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eiffageenergiasistemas.com\/en\/2024\/11\/28\/opening-of-the-betierra-solar-plants-built-by-eiffage-energia-sistemas-for-sonnedix-in-belinchon-cuenca\/\"><strong>Sonnedix<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Betierra<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(also 150 MW), which was launched in November 2024 and also executed by our Eiffage Energ\u00eda Sistemas in the province of Cuenca.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A key project for the energy transition<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The Sonnedix Covatillas 1, 5 and 6 complex is equipped with state-of-the-art technology:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><ul>&#13;\n \t<li><strong>274,260<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Astronergy <strong>bifacial modules\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><ul>&#13;\n \t<li><strong>3,680<\/strong>\u00a0Gonvarri <strong>dual axis solar trackers (2V)<\/strong><\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><ul>&#13;\n \t<li><strong>126<\/strong>\u00a0Sungrow brand <strong>inverters<\/strong><\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><ul>&#13;\n \t<li><strong>150 MVA substation of our own<\/strong>\u00a0with Hitachi technology<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><ul>&#13;\n \t<li>\u00a0<strong>132 kV<\/strong>\u00a0evacuation line connected to the Minglanilla substation<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>It is estimated that it will produce\u00a0<strong>298,500 MWh <\/strong>annually, which is enough power to supply more than\u00a0<strong>71,000 households<\/strong>\u00a0and will prevent the emission of more than\u00a0<strong>108,000 tonnes of CO\u2082<\/strong>\u00a0per year.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Environmental commitment and local development<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>During the execution of the project, Sonnedix, together with Eiffage Energ\u00eda Sistemas, has applied strict\u00a0<strong>sustainability <\/strong>measures:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><ul>&#13;\n \t<li><strong>Livestock troughs<\/strong><\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><ul>&#13;\n \t<li><strong>Restoration of dry stone walls<\/strong><\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><ul>&#13;\n \t<li><strong>Creation of water reservoirs<\/strong>\u00a0for amphibians<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In addition, more than\u00a0<strong>200 direct jobs <\/strong>were generated, in which we prioritised the\u00a0<strong>hiring of local companies and workers<\/strong>, thus contributing to the economic development of the region.<br\/><br\/><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Expansion in Castilla-La Mancha and national leadership<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>With this new complex,\u00a0<strong>Sonnedix now has 67 operational plants in Castilla-La Mancha<\/strong>, adding\u00a0<strong>458 MW in the region<\/strong>\u00a0and more than\u00a0<strong>1,260 MW in Spain<\/strong>, within a global pipeline that already exceeds\u00a0<strong>10.8 GW<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>At Eiffage Energ\u00eda Sistemas, we are proud to continue participating in projects
