It has a surface area of nearly 1,000 hectares, and over 1,400,000 solar panels. The plant also has an installed capacity of 500 MW and its annual production is estimated to be 832 GWh. This plant, built in record time by Eiffage Energía, has provided jobs to over 1,200 employees, 70% from Extremadura. It will supply energy to 250,000 people/year and will avoid the emission of 215,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere per year.
