Eiffage Energy last year increased its workforce by 12.14%, going from 1212 workers in 2013 to 1471 by the end of 2014, a figure that reflects the continued growth of the company, which thanks to the diversification of its business and the opening of markets has managed not only to weather the crisis but to go ahead with its expansion in national and international territory.
The contribution of value to society and the positive return from ethical commitment are, for the company, some of the main motivations that drive Eiffage Energy to continually develop and improve its activity.
Employment figures for 2014 show highly satisfactory results, since the level of contracts granted, both those sponsored directly by the government or those by customers operating in the public sector, as well as by private clients, have allowed us to maintain an optimal level of activity.
With respect to work contracts for the construction of new infrastructures or improvements to existing ones in the public sector, two projects stand out for the improvement of energy efficiency in street lighting: one of which is that carried out in various municipalities in the province of Alicante, commissioned by the Provincial Deputation, based on its provincial plan for saving energy with a budget as a whole of around 1,000,000 euros; and another, which will be carried out during this year in the town Navas del Marqués, Avila, whose total amounts to 992,000 euros.
