Eiffage Energía Sistemas, through its subsidiary Eiffage Conscytec, is participating in the expansion project of the Infanta Leonor University Hospital, a strategic initiative promoted by the Community of Madrid to strengthen the healthcare and teaching capacity of this leading public health centre in the Vallecas district.
The project involves the construction of a new teaching wing, designed to enhance the training of healthcare professionals and advance the integration of healthcare, teaching and research. The expansion will contribute to improving the quality of Madrid’s public healthcare system and responding to the present and future needs of the population.
Comprehensive action
Eiffage Energía Sistemas is participating in the renovation and expansion of the Infanta Leonor Hospital through a comprehensive project that includes the renovation of ward 3A; a day hospital; pathological anatomy laboratories; the refurbishment of storage rooms; renovation of changing rooms; and relocation of the maintenance area.
In addition, it is constructing a new warehouse in the teaching area, covering all phases of construction and equipment:
- Preliminary work and earthworks
- Sanitation, foundations and concrete and metal structures
- Bricklaying, flooring and tiling, false ceilings and green roofs
- Carpentry, metalwork and interior and exterior glazing
- Painting and coatings
- Complete installations: plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, solar and fuel, transport, medical gases, security systems, communications and complementary installations
