Project highlights
The most recent projects include the wind farm STEV, which has a capacity of 31 MW and is located in the municipality of Zaragoza. The project included building medium-voltage (30 kV) underground lines to interconnect five wind turbines, as well as adapting the existing substation “Stev/Romerales I”.
Interconnection work has also been carried out on the wind farms Segura I and Segura II, which are located in the province of Teruel. In this case, the Segura220/30 kV electrical substation has been built, a transformer position in the Monforte substation has been extended and a 4.7 km 220 kV overhead evacuation line has been installed to feed the energy generated into the grid.
Scope of the Works
The works undertaken by Eiffage Energía Sistemas have ranged from the stakeout and topographic survey to the commissioning of the medium voltage circuits and the adaptation of the substations.
The most significant actions include: constructing circulation roads and foundations; electrical interconnection between wind turbines; civil works for the meteorological tower; and adaptation of electrical substations.
The works involved the direct participation of 36 workers from Eiffage Energía Sistemas and the subcontracting of up to 270 people at peak times, generating a boost for the local economy.
