Eiffage strengthens its presence in Spain with the acquisition of CVS, M3i Controls and Inmotechnia in the energy sector
Eiffage, through Eiffage Energía Sistemas , a subsidiary of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, is continuing its growth strategy in Europe, strengthening its territorial coverage and expertise in the energy sector. The Group has thus completed three new acquisitions in Spain over the summer.
CVS
The first acquisition focuses on the CVS Business Group (R&M, Ebrofrío, Proteknia, Supra and Algenia), which specialises in cooling solutions for industry and the tertiary sector, as well as fire detection and protection systems.
CVS is present throughout the value chain, from engineering, design and assembly to installation and maintenance. Founded in 2020, the company has more than 300 employees and national coverage thanks to its 11 plants spread across the country. In 2024, it generated a turnover of more than €60 million.
M3i Controls and Inmotechnia
At the same time, Eiffage Energía Sistemas has acquired two other companies with the aim of becoming the leader in the Spanish market for energy control and maintenance systems:
- M3i Controls, a Catalan company specialising in control and automation systems for tertiary buildings, with a workforce of 21 professionals and a turnover of €3 million in 2024.
- Inmotechnia, a company specialising in smart centralised building management systems (BEMS), which operates throughout Spain with 60 employees and posted a turnover of €10 million in 2024.
With these acquisitions, Eiffage Energía Sistemas strengthens its position as a key player in the energy sector in Spain. At the end of 2024, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ Spanish subsidiary had more than 5,000 employees and a turnover of €1.1 billion, making it Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ second-largest operation after France.
