The “Notifica” project, an app developed by Eiffage Energía Sistemas for the quick and effective reporting of incidents and anomalies, has been recognised by Ibermutua in the 3rd edition of the “Eladio González Malmierca” Occupational Risk Prevention Awards, which recognise good practices in occupational health and safety.
The awards ceremony took place yesterday in the auditorium of Ibermutua’s headquarters in Madrid and was attended by Juan Pablo Valverde, Director of Occupational Health and Safety at Eiffage Energía Sistemas, who collected the award.
These awards recognise the work of mutual insurance companies, as well as initiatives promoted by institutions, the media, professionals and influencers committed to spreading a culture of prevention.
The jury for this edition consisted of representatives from the Asturian Institute for Occupational Risk Prevention (IAPRL), the Valencian Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (INVASSAT), the Directorate-General for Labour Relations and Occupational Health and Safety of the Regional Government of Andalusia and Ibermutua.
Notifica: a key tool for strengthening the culture of prevention
Designed and integrated into the corporate mobile application, Notifica allows all employees at Eiffage Energía Sistemas to report incidents and anomalies in a simple, quick and intuitive way, promoting the early detection of risky situations.
Its development is based on the Bird’s Triangle methodology, which highlights the importance of intervening in minor incidents to reduce the likelihood of serious accidents. Initial analysis showed that the volume of reports in the Group did not correspond to the proportion established in the pyramid, making it necessary to promote a tool that would facilitate and encourage the reporting of such events.
Thanks to its configuration, each report is automatically forwarded to the relevant department, allowing it to be assessed and the necessary preventive measures to be taken.
Results since its launch
Since the tool was launched in June 2024, the number of incidents and anomalies reported has grown significantly, making it the main channel for internal reporting.
The tool has been very well received by staff, providing valuable information for decision-making and identifying areas for improvement.
Eiffage Energía Sistemas will continue to work on the development and improvement of Notifica, with the aim of making it even more comprehensive, operational and useful for teams.

Notifica has become established as an essential tool for the Health and Safety Department, providing a reliable database for the implementation of preventive measures and contributing significantly to the reduction of accidents within the Eiffage Energía Sistemas Group.
Ibermutua’s recognition comes as a boost to and validation of the company’s commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and the promotion of a true culture of prevention in all its centres and projects.
