Eiffage Energía Sistemas is carrying out the project to adapt the IRTA (Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries) building for the creation of the new Escola Agrària de Noves Tecnologies i Horticultura in Cabrils (Barcelona).
Promoted by the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Catalonia, this project is part of Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ Reformas Catalunya line.
Project objective
The project consists of the partial renovation of the interior spaces on the ground floor of the IRTA building, with the aim of adapting them as classrooms and training spaces for the new school dedicated to technological innovation and sustainable horticulture.
The IRTA, an organisation attached to the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda, has the mission of contributing to the modernisation and sustainability of the agri-food and agroforestry sector, promoting competitiveness, food security and the health of the population.
The creation of this new school reinforces that commitment, training new generations in technologies applied to agricultural development, energy efficiency and sustainable production.
Commitment to innovation
With this project, Eiffage Energía Sistemas continues to strengthen its presence in the educational and scientific fields, offering sustainable and efficient technical solutions that drive the modernisation of public infrastructure and the transition to a greener and more innovative model.
