Eiffage Energía Sistemas is working alongside Itercon, in the development of NxN Data Centers first data centre, located in Vara de Quart (Valencia). This strategic project underscores a strong commitment to sustainable, high-capacity digital infrastructure in the Valencian Community.
With an investment of over €11 million, the facility will offer access and grid connection permits for up to 6 MW across a total area of 6,500 m². These capabilities position the centre as a key hub for cloud services, public administrations, and businesses with high demands for availability, security, and performance.
Scope of the works
Eiffage Energía Sistemas is responsible for delivering the mechanical, low-voltage, and medium-voltage electrical installations, as well as the voice and data systems, leveraging its expertise in critical infrastructure projects where operational reliability, energy efficiency, and security are key factors.
Sustainability and efficiency: a data centre with a NetZero approach
Sustainability is one of the project’s central pillars:
- BREEAM Excellent certification in sustainable construction
- Zero water consumption.
- Exclusive use of 100% renewable energy sources.
- Low-carbon technologies and high-efficiency energy systems.
This NetZero approach addresses the growing demand for responsible digital infrastructure, aligned with European decarbonisation and circular economy standards.
Ready for artificial intelligence and supercomputing
The centre stands out for its hybrid cooling design, capable of supporting standard systems, liquid cooling, and immersion cooling simultaneously. This flexibility enables it to support high-density workloads associated with:
- Artificial intelligence
- Supercomputing
- Advanced data analytics
Furthermore, it will feature hyperconnectivity and carrier neutrality, facilitating direct access to long-distance networks and ensuring low-latency interconnections.
With this project, Eiffage Energía Sistemas strengthens its position in the development of critical digital infrastructure, integrating technological innovation, energy efficiency and environmental commitment to support sustainable digital transformation.
