The Eiffage Energía Sistemas Group took part as a partner company in yesterday’s ADINE General Assembly, held in Madrid, a key event that brought together around a hundred professionals from the tyre sector.
Energy Saving Certificates (CAEs): a strategic opportunity for the sector
In this context, Pedro Acosta, Director of the Energy Efficiency Department at Eiffage Energía Sistemas, delivered a presentation analysing the role of Energy Saving Certificates (CAEs) and the opportunities this mechanism offers the sector, as well as the specific ways in which member companies can benefit from its implementation.
During his presentation, he outlined the main standardised eligible actions within the transport sector (TRA), including the replacement of tyres with more efficient models, upgrading workshop lighting to LED technology, and the transition from combustion-engine vehicles to electric vehicles. He also highlighted additional measures aimed at optimising the energy efficiency of facilities, such as improvements to insulation, HVAC systems, compressors, variable speed drives and motors.
The presentation highlighted how energy efficiency is increasingly recognised as a strategic pillar, not only from an environmental perspective, but also as a key driver of competitiveness and value creation for companies in the sector.
Advancing the energy transition through knowledge and collaboration
Active participation and support in forums of this kind enable Eiffage Energía Sistemas to further strengthen its position in key areas of the energy transition, by sharing knowledge, creating value and delivering innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of each sector.
