Benoît de Ruffray appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eiffage

Eiffage board organises the new governance under the chairmanship and executive office of Benoît de Ruffray.

The board in its December 9th 2015 meeting unanimously took the following decisions on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee. These decisions will take effect on January 18th 2016.
1. It co-opted Mr Benoît de Ruffray as director for the remaining duration of Mr Pierre Berger’s directorship,
2. It decided to reunite the Chairmanship and Chief Executive Officer functions,
3. It nominated Mr Benoît de Ruffray as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer with the widest powers.
Mr de Ruffray, 49, is a graduate of the French engineering schools École Polytechnique and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and holds a Master’s degree from Imperial College London. He began his career in 1990 within the Bouygues Group, first at Bouygues Travaux Publics, where he held a variety of positions and then headed major projects, including the Beirut seafront, until 2003. In 2001 he was appointed to head Bouygues Travaux Publics Latin American area. Between 2003 and 2007 he was Chief Executive Officer of Dragages Hong Kong, a subsidiary of Bouygues.
