José Manuel Martínez, new vice chairman of ADEMI

José Manuel Martínez, new vice chairman of ADEMI. ADEMI‘s Board of Directors has named José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Eiffage Energía and delegate of Eiffage in Spain, vice chairman of the association. An appointment approved by the association’s Ordinary General Assembly. ADEMI, the Association of Engineering, Assembly, Maintenance and Industrial Services Companies, was founded in 1977. It currently has a chairman, José María Castillo, and two vice chairmen, Antonio Barrenechea and José Manuel Martínez. Its purpose is to represent and defend the sector’s interests. It currently comprises the sector’s most representative companies, including Eiffage Energía. The combined turnover of these companies exceeds 90% of that of the sector overall.

The association is part of the Spanish business structure

The association is part of the Spanish business structure. It is a member of CEO, CEPYME, CONFEMETAL and the Spanish Association of Standardisation, UNE. It also actively participates in the different working groups of these bodies. For example, in the areas of labour relations, environment, industry, energy, corporate social responsibility, training, etc.

One of the organisation’s most valuable contributions has been to achieve an associative vision in a highly fragmented sector.

It enhances the prestige of the associated companies

In addition, this sectoral identity has made it possible to enhance the prestige of the associated companies. These companies differentiate themselves in the market by offering the government, their clients and their employees strict compliance with legislation. In addition, it offers firm guarantees in terms of quality, environmental protection, safety, technological expertise, and financial capacity. The CEO of Eiffage Energía and managing director of Eiffage in Spain explains that ADEMI’s task as a sectoral association is to promote relationships and knowledge among the companies, share sectoral problems, represent the sector in the country’s business and administrative forums, and support companies in occupational risk prevention, quality, environmental and sustainable development matters.

José Manuel Martínez

José Manuel Martínez holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, with a specialisation in Electronics and Automation, from the University of Murcia, and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention.
