Through our subsidiary SGA Solutions® we have installed and commissioned a Building Management System (BMS) for a new student residence, located in the north of the peninsula, which includes the building’s energy management.
The IQ VISION software enables the control and automation of all the integrated elements, as well as their monitoring in real time, giving an overview of the status of the facilities.
The proposed BMS handles all of the building’s energy management, and manages and controls the air source heat pump system
The project aims to provide the building with a comprehensive management system allowing the management and control of all the integrated elements and favouring the energy efficiency of the new student residence.
Clean energy generation with an air source heat pump system
Air source heat pumps are one of the most advanced clean energy generation systems at the moment. The system allows energy to be extracted from the ambient air, making use of up to 75% of the energy produced, thus reducing electricity and/or gas consumption.
This system has been implemented in installations for the production of domestic hot water (DHW) as well as for the air-conditioning of the entire building.
