Eiffage Energía Sistemas has carried out interior refurbishment work on the basement and ground floor of the Albacete Courts, in a project awarded by the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with Parliament. This work has provided the court building with new spaces suited to current needs, improving its functionality and efficiency.
Work carried out
The scope of the work included:
- Basement: refurbishment of the storage space for archives.
- Ground floor: construction of two new courtrooms, fitted out in part of the existing storage space.
- Comprehensive execution of the necessary installations: civil engineering, electrical installations, air conditioning and fire protection (PCI).
In addition, Eiffage Energía Sistemas is working on a sustainable improvement proposal to replace the initially planned FM-200 gas-powered fire extinguishing system, which is highly polluting, with an innovative water mist system, a much more environmentally friendly solution that is consistent with the sustainability and energy efficiency criteria promoted by the company.
A consolidated track record in the Courts Complex
This project reinforces Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ presence in the Courts Complex in Albacete, where the company has already carried out other notable projects.
In 2018, it carried out the Courts Complex low and medium voltage electrical installation, including the supply and installation of all LED lighting fixtures, as well as the installation of electrical panels, transformers, medium voltage cells and communications systems.
In 2020, it installed charging points for electric vehicles in the new building, thanks to a collaboration agreement with Schneider Electric Spain.
With this project, Eiffage Energía Sistemas once again demonstrates its ability to offer advanced and sustainable technical solutions for highly demanding public buildings.
