Eiffage Energía Sistemas has been awarded the maintenance service contract for the air conditioning installations at the airports of Málaga (AGP), Granada (GRX), Almería (LEI), Seville (SVQ) and Jerez (XRY). A contract promoted by Aena that covers a wide range of essential services to guarantee the operability and efficiency of the air conditioning systems in these critical infrastructures.
The scope of the service includes the preventive, corrective, legal, predictive and modifying maintenance of the systems, as well as the operation of the installations, CMMS control, and compliance with the legal regulations in force.
It also includes the management of the refrigerant gas and provision of the necessary support for the Air Navigation facilities (CNS/ATS). This is all provided with our own human and material resources.
In addition, Eiffage Energía Sistemas has been providing maintenance services for high and low voltage electrical installations, UPS and generators at these five airports managed by AENA in Andalusia for more than a year.
Scope of the service
The project includes the comprehensive maintenance of several critical infrastructures, including:
- High Voltage: power lines, transformers, cabins, neutral impedances, load banks.
- Low Voltage: switchboards, capacitor banks, isolation transformers, lightning conductors, indoor and outdoor lighting, LVP signs, generators, electrical chargers, among others.
- Auxiliary systems: UPS, rectifiers, static transfer systems, control cabinets and panels, signalling lights and fuel systems.
Organisation and human resources
The service includes the subrogation of specialised personnel at the airports of Jerez, Seville and Malaga. At Almería and Granada-Jaén airports, where there is no personnel to be subrogated, the service will be provided by SAT (Technical Assistance Service).

AENA Environmental Award
In June last year, Eiffage Energía Sistemas received the 8th Environmental Award from Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, in the Supplier Category, coinciding with the celebration of World Environment Day.
This is an award granted by AENA to those companies that have demonstrated the best environmental performance.
In this sense, AENA highlighted the notable improvement achieved in the control of environmental aspects by Eiffage Energía Sistemas, as well as in the initiatives adopted to improve its sustainability performance and compliance with the applicable environmental legislation.
