Inelbo creates the SGA Solutions platform to optimise efficiency and simplify work

In 2019, Eiffage Energía’s Inelbo subsidiary, which specialises in interior installations and electrical maintenance, consolidated the different business units related to Management and Automation Systems (SGA) under the SGA Solutions® brand. Inelbo creates the SGA Solutions platform. The new software platform that helps companies control and systematise processes. A smart investment that optimises efficiency and simplifies work. It comprises a software platform that spans several markets: SGA Building (building management system), SGA Home Automation (control system for automated single-family homes), SGA Process (industrial production control system) and SGA Sun (photovoltaic installation control system).

  • SGA Process

A comprehensive project has been tackled to digitalize all production, quality and location processes through cloud platforms, mobile applications and local control systems.  Examples include Entex Textil and Manipulados Vázquez, two industrial companies in totally different sectors (Textile and Paper) that have managed to transform the traditional method they used, in order to gain total control of their facilities and production.

  • SGA Building-Home Automation

This area encompasses the integration of facilities in all areas in service buildings (offices, hotels or shopping centres), large volumes (industrial bays, shopping centres or train stations) and large complexes, such as university campuses. The highest-profile projects undertaken in 2019 were: –Comprehensive control system for the Rectorate Building of Miguel Hernández University of Elche, where installations as diverse as air conditioning, lighting, energy, power, systems monitoring and the assembly hall, among others, were placed under control. The strength of this platform is the possibility of accessing it from any device, whether PC, phone or tablet, thanks to the HTML5 technology used. In addition to a large set of applications that can adapt the system to the needs of the end customer.             -Air conditioning control system in the Coca-Cola factory in Valencia, our program was supplied and configured to monitor the temperature in the factory’s work areas so they are always compliant with regulations, controlling the production of cold, logging the statuses and ensuring that any type of alarm emitted that might prevent the activity of workers is carried out according to European regulations imposed by Coca-Cola for the well-being of its workers.

  • Facility Control System (FCS)

Currently, a standard is being developed to control all the facilities present in a logistics block. Inelbo has installed management systems in logistics centres with a number of variables exceeding 300,000 signals in logistics centres with an approximate area of 120,000 m2 and power of some 30,730 KVA.

  • R&D+i works

Any company that does not invest in R&D+i is doomed to failure. Continuous growth is necessary to avoid being left behind in an increasingly technological market. That’s why Inelbo and SGA have started a new R&D+i line with staff dedicated exclusively to this endeavour. Among the most important projects underway is the manufacture of gateways jointly with a French company of the Eiffage Group, Eiffage Énergie Électronique, with a current order of more than 8,000 devices and the possibility of introducing approximately 16,000 units on the market.
