Consolidation of the renovation and refurbishment activity in Eiffage Energía

Consolidation of the Renovation and Refurbishment activity in Eiffage Energía. This line of business is directly related to the Construction and Installations areas  It mainly involves work in existing buildings and structures. This activity has long existed as an independent line of work in the construction sector. It has become the focus of attention of the main industry forums, conferences and events. Eiffage Energía is promoting growth in this area and thus expanding its business lines.

National organisation and a multidisciplinary working group

This activity includes the adaptation and completion of buildings or their refurbishment. Also, technical advice and service, the conservation of building lots, vacant buildings and homes. Comprehensive renovation and refurbishment of commercial premises, offices, homes and industrial bays are also part of this activity. Eiffage Energía has a national organisation and a multidisciplinary working group, made up of architects, technical architects and industrial engineers with many years of experience in the sector. As a result, it offers its clients “turnkey” projects in which it can include engineering, construction management and health and safety coordination according to their needs.

The evolution of turnover of this activity in recent years shows significant growth.

 

 

Eiffage Energía, through its Conscytec subsidiary and the Installations and Renovation and Refurbishment departments, has the capacity to carry out all types of construction and renovation work, regardless of volume or scope.

Renovation and rehabilitation projects in progress

Some of the projects on which this Eiffage Energía department are worth noting as examples: Refurbishment of theMundial 86 swimming centre in Madrid. Interior and exterior work on the facilities of the Olympic swimming pools. It consisted of replacement of filter materials, air conditioning and heating equipment, in addition to the canvas covers of the outdoor Olympic swimming pool. The work is expected to be completed in August this year. -Adaptation of the second floor of the Toledo Courts building to house the Court of First Instance and Preliminary Investigation No. 8 and the archives in the basement. Work and installations will be carry out the interior refurbishment of part of the second floor, which is currently completely open. Interior sectorisation of part of the archives on the semi-basement floor will also be carried out. This work is expected to be completed in June this year. Adaptation of the Toledo Courts -Overhaul of the air-conditioning installation in the ADIF building located on Paseo del Rey in Madrid. The civil engineering part consists of preparing an outdoor area for placement of the air conditioning units. This requires earthmoving work and reinforced concrete retaining walls. A metal structure will then be installed, on top of which the units will be placed. The estimated completion date for this project is February 2021.
