We have just renewed the maintenance contract for the IslazulShopping Centre in Madrid, with which we have been working since 2016. On this occasion, the contract is renewed for a further two years, until December 2022. In the Islazul shopping centre we perform integral maintenance of the common facilities. This involves taking care of air conditioning; fire; low and medium voltage electricity; plumbing and sanitation installations; masonry; and mandatory regulatory inspections.
Carbon footprint reduction
We also carry out energy saving and efficiency measures aimed at sustainability and carbon footprint reduction. In this regard, we also took care of changing all the lighting in the shopping centre to LED; installation of frequency inverters in cooling towers and closed circuit pumping system of tempered water to the premises; replacement with more efficient IE2 motors; updating the obsolete BMS system to TREND; installation of motion sensors in technical corridors to turn off lighting circuits when there are no people in them, etc.
Obtaining and enhancing of various accreditations
We work closely with the shopping centre to obtain various accreditations. In this way, the company has achieved BREEAM accreditation, which measures the degree of environmental sustainability in buildings. The score was: Excellent Building and Exceptional Building Management. As a result of these efforts, the shopping centre is also now certified: UNE 170001 (universal accessibility, which guarantees access and universally accessible services to all users); ISO 50001 (energy management system); and ISO 140001 (environmental management system). We have just completed installation of two solar power plants for self-consumption in this shopping centre, one of 505 Kwp and the other of 60 Kwp. Both plants are now 100% operational.
Maintenance of Shopping Centres

We presently offer maintenance services in the following shopping centres: Sexta Avenida and Espacio Torrelodones, as well as Islazul, in Madrid; Abella, in Lugo; León Plaza, in León; El Tormes, in Salamanca; El Mirador de Cuenca; Imaginalia, in Albacete; Anne Blau, Terrasa, Moda Shopping Port Olimpic and Mercat 11 Setembre de Barberá del Vallés, in Barcelona; Aire Sur, Los Alcores and Sevilla Factory, in Seville; L’Aljub, Vidanova Parc, in Alicante; Ribera de Xuquer, in Valencia; Parque Almenara, in Murcia; and DOC in Malaga from McArthurGleen.
