Eiffage Energía, leader in the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure

Vehículo eléctrico

In the sustainable mobility sector, we are leaders in the installation and integration of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This is shown by over 1500 charging stations installed throughout Spain.

One example is the construction of the largest ultra-fast charging station in Spain, owned by Endesa and Eysa, in Ciudad de la Imagen, on the outskirts of Madrid.

The charging hub, opened in early 2022, has a total of 46 charging parking spaces installed by Eiffage Energia, available at a 24/7 facility, inside a new, sustainable and fully automated public car park.

The largest ‘electric charging station’ in Southern Europe

We have also worked on the installation of the largest “electric charging station” in Southern Europe, developed by Iberdrola in partnership with Porsche.

It is located on the A-70 motorway, in the district of Elche, next to El Altet airport, the Institución Ferial Alicantina (IFA) and the Elche Business Park.

The installation consists of two charging stations, one in each direction of the motorway, and has a total rated power of four megawatts.

The infrastructure includes a total of four 400 kW chargers and a further twelve 200 kW chargers, allowing up to 16 vehicles to be charged simultaneously, and with capacity to charge the battery of an electric car in less than five minutes.
