Through our subsidiary SGA Solutions® we carried out the entire creation and implementation process of a control system fully tailored to the production process of the company Laminados Careva.
The company, which specialises in the production of containers and packaging for the food industry, has entrusted our brand with the development of a system that enables the collection of data on consumption, statuses, and alarms, as well as the automation of different processes at one of the stages of its production chain.
Control and monitoring system
Laminados Careva sought a centralised solution that would permit the collection of operational and status data regarding its production process.
SGA Solutions® conducted the study, programming and implementation of a system that collects and stores all the information. The aim is to provide a summary of the production process and consumption through statistics in table and graphic format.
The implemented solution brings together:
- Information on consumption.
- Picking up technical alarms.
- Status of the controlled machinery.
- Automation and control of the operation of the production process.
Ewon communication devices
Due to the unique nature of the company’s needs, the entire project was carried out with special equipment. For this reason, EWON devices by HMS were used to connect to the machine, allowing data logging and the notification of alarms.
These devices offer an easy, safe and efficient connection to the machinery and integrate all of the data that is gathered in a single platform. A secure network provides remote access to information, providing a quick and general overview of the status of the machinery.
The project provides the company Laminados Careva with improved efficiency through the automation of a portion of its production chain processes, and provides real time information on production and consumption statuses.
Our solution provides an overview of the current operation of the machinery and includes an alarm pick-up system that will give the company both full control and facilitate the maintenance of the machinery.
