Eiffage Energía Sistemas promotes a society free from violence against women in partnership with the Castile-La Mancha Women’s Institute

Victoria Guerrero, Director of HR, Legal and Quality, attended, alongside María Dolores Serrano, Provincial Equality Officer in Albacete, the follow-up meeting on the collaboration agreement between the Women’s Institute of Castile-La Mancha and Eiffage Energía Sistemas for a society free from violence against women.

This agreement, signed in 2018, aims to foster collaboration between both parties to develop awareness-raising initiatives on gender-based violence. Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ commitment focuses both on supporting awareness and prevention campaigns against gender-based violence carried out by the Women’s Institute of Castile-La Mancha, and on promoting the company’s own campaigns in this area.

In December 2025, the company signed the renewal of this agreement, reaffirming its commitment to being part of a business movement that joins forces to achieve a society free from gender-based violence.

Through this agreement, the company demonstrates its commitment to joining a collective initiative which, from the business sector, seeks to contribute to building a society free from violence against women. To this end, it is committed to promoting social awareness and facilitating access to employment for women who have been victims of gender-based violence.

Recognition of commitment

Eiffage Energía Sistemas has received numerous awards and recognitions in the field of gender equality and the fight against violence against women.

One such distinction was awarded by the OPI “Promotion of Equality in the Workplace”. This recognition highlights the social responsibility of companies that have strengthened their equality plan and incorporated effective measures with a direct impact on employees.

Furthermore, the Campollano Business Association, ADECA, awarded the company the ‘Por una Empresa Igual’ For an Equal Company) seal. This seal recognises the work of companies committed to promoting real equality in the business world.

A genuine commitment

At the Eiffage Energía Sistemas Group, a range of initiatives are continuously developed to raise awareness and demonstrate a firm commitment to building a society free from violence against women.

The purpose of this agreement is to develop awareness-raising initiatives on equality and the prevention of gender-based violence, as well as to enhance the employability and labour market integration of women who are victims of gender-based violence, thereby contributing to their personal and economic autonomy.

Internally, the company has established a dedicated section on its internal communication channel containing both the Equality Plan and the Guide to improving comprehensive legal protection measures against gender-based violence. Furthermore, a mandatory reading protocol has been implemented for all staff regarding the prevention of and response to situations of sexual harassment, thereby reinforcing awareness and shared responsibility in this area.

In addition, informative content is regularly published on the corporate website, including regulatory updates, renewals of collective agreements, and news related to these matters. These communications are available to both internal and external audiences, ensuring transparency and access to information.

Each year, to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, various initiatives and communication campaigns are launched. One example is the corporate video, produced and featuring Group employees, which highlights the organisation’s role in eradicating gender-based violence. This content has been shown on screens at all company offices and shared via external channels to broaden its reach.

Through these actions, the company demonstrates a strong and ongoing commitment to the fight against gender-based violence, promoting initiatives and campaigns that help to raise awareness effectively among everyone who forms part of the organisation.
