Eiffage Energía Sistemas celebrates Safety Week 2025 under the slogan “Let’s control our risks”

Under the slogan ”Let’s control our risks”, Eiffage Energy Systems is holding a new edition of its Health and Safety Week, which is taking place from 9 to 13 June 2025 at various of the company’s regional offices, centres and headquarters  throughout the country.

This initiative, which has already been consolidated as a key event in our corporate calendar, aims to reinforce the preventative culture and raise awareness throughout the organisation of the importance of identifying, analysing and controlling occupational risks in all areas and environments.

A complete programme throughout Spain

Throughout the week, activities, workshops, dynamics, talks and practical simulations will be held for almost 100% of the workforce, with a programme adapted to each business area. The planned activities include the following:

9 June – Inaugural event and workshops at various venues

The inaugural event took place yesterday at the Hotel Universidad de Albacete; it was organised by the High Voltage area, with presentations by managers, motivational videos and talks about safety exercises. The event was closed by our CEO, José Manuel Martínez, who highlighted the importance of health and safety in the company. “Although the health and safety results during 2024 were positive, we cannot let our guard down. It is the responsibility of every EES employee to ensure their own safety and that of their colleagues,” he said.

At the same time, the Central Zone Networks area organised, at the Faculty of Agronomists in Albacete, several prevention workshops with vehicle rollover simulators, CPR practices and virtual reality goggles.

Also yesterday, in Jaén, a workshop was held with an inspirational intervention by a firefighter/surgeon, highlighting the importance of preparedness to prevent fatal consequences.

10 June – Installations and Refurbishment

Today, in Alcalá de Henares, a conference will focus on real experiences, with a talk by Virginie Ervouet, the international head of prevention at Eiffage Énergie Systèmes (France), as well as first-person testimonies.

12 June – Centro Redes Leganés

A workshop in Toledo featuring more than 200 workers from this regional office.

13 June – Health and safety in offices, North and Levante areas
    • Headquarters: presentation of ”Safety Trivia,” a fun and educational activity aimed at specific office-based risks.
    • Levante area: activities in Alicante, Lorquí, Lorca and Valencia, in collaboration with AESLEME and Fundación MAPFRE, including awareness-raising talks given by wheelchair users.
  • • North: specific training courses for the maintenance and electro-medical areas.

A shared commitment

This week reflects Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ firm commitment to the prevention of occupational risks, the well-being of the human team and the continuous improvement of working conditions, with a clear goal: zero accidents and a preventative culture deeply integrated into all levels of the organisation.

Because health and safety is not just an obligation: it is a value that unites us, protects us and drives us to be better every day.
