On World Energy Efficiency Day, at Eiffage Energía Sistemas Group we want to highlight the transformative role that energy efficiency plays in the transition towards a more sustainable, decarbonised and competitive model.
At Grupo Eiffage Energía Sistemas, we have an Energy Efficiency Business Unit, headed by Pedro Acosta, which is set up as a cross-functional space whose aim is to help organisations reduce their energy consumption, lower their emissions and optimise their operating costs through technical, financial and management solutions.
To this end, its activity is structured around three complementary lines of business that cover the entire energy improvement cycle.
- Energy management and strategic support
- Implementation of energy improvement installations
- Management of Energy Saving Certificates (ESCs)
Energy management and strategic support
The first line is energy management and customer support, which focuses on analysing the energy performance of buildings and facilities to identify opportunities for improvement and implement optimisation strategies.
Using advanced monitoring tools, data analysis, energy audits and specialised technical advice, we work alongside the client to:
- Reduce energy consumption
- Optimise system performance
- Lower energy and operating costs
- Establish continuous improvement based on data
Implement energy improvement installations
The second line, implementation of energy improvement installations, addresses the design and implementation of technical solutions that reduce emissions and improve infrastructure efficiency.
The main actions include:
- Renovation and modernisation of equipment
- Electrification of processes
- Integration of renewable energies (self-consumption, storage and flexible demand management)
- Modernisation of thermal and electrical systems
- Improvement of lighting installations
- Installation of charging points for electric mobility
- Fleet electrification
In addition, we structure tailor-made financing solutions that facilitate investment, including energy service models, energy performance contracts, external financing and incentive programme management.
ESC management: monetisation of energy savings
These three lines do not operate in isolation, but are integrated into a continuous value cycle:
- We identify opportunities through energy management.
- We design and implement the necessary technical measures.
- We structure financing and process ESCs to reduce investment.
- We carry out continuous monitoring to verify savings and identify new opportunities.
In this way, we close a permanent cycle of energy and operational cost reduction, guaranteeing measurable and sustainable results over time.
On World Energy Efficiency Day, we reaffirm our conviction: energy efficiency is not just a technical solution, but a key business strategy for moving towards decarbonisation and sustainable competitiveness.
At Eiffage Energy Systems Group, we work every day to turn efficiency into real value for our customers.
