Eiffage Energy in Belgium. Thefifth wind farm we have built in Belgium has just been commissioned. A complex located in the Wallonia region, consisting of three wind turbines with a total capacity of 9.6 MW. This is a project that can be expanded in the future to a total of five wind turbines, with an estimated capacity of 16 MW. At Eiffage Energía, we reconstructed the access points, roads, platforms, foundations, drainage, ditches, medium-voltage network, communications and grounding, and also handled the supply and installation of the delivery centre for evacuation of the energy generated.
Eiffage Energía has now completed a total of 88 wind farms around the world, with a combined capacity of 3,186.74 MW. Our 20+ years of experience makes us a worldwide leader in energy and sustainability. We have now managed to avoid more than 13 million tonnes of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. This is possible thanks to our low-carbon strategy, which aims for an overall reduction of emissions across the value chain . We are continuing along these lines, developing a low-carbon strategy. Strategy based on three pillars: Innovation, Digital Transition and Ecological Transition. Generating clean and safe energy and taking care of our planet. Eiffage’s sustainable development policy is based on several inextricably linked strategies, to provide a comprehensive response to all the challenges of low-carbon construction, environmental protection, and support for biodiversity.
