With this in mind, the company continues to strengthen its commitment to health and wellbeing through Espacio Salud, an initiative that promotes healthy habits in the workplace and now includes new content focused on physical activity.
Regular exercise is key to preventing a sedentary lifestyle, improving cardiovascular health, strengthening the musculoskeletal system and promoting emotional wellbeing.
As outlined in the Espacio Salud informational materials, small changes in daily routines, such as moving every two hours, combining aerobic activity with strength training, or integrating so-called “hidden exercise” into daily life, can have a very positive impact on workers’ physical and mental health.
Comprehensive wellbeing: physical, emotional and social
The initiative is part of a comprehensive vision of wellbeing that goes beyond the physical realm and also incorporates emotional and social dimensions. Encouraging physical activity not only contributes to improving one’s physical condition, but also reduces stress, increases concentration and boosts motivation, all of which are essential factors for the development of a solid, efficient and sustainable organisation.

This project has been made possible thanks to the collaboration with Fundación MAPFRE, whose support has enriched the content and actions of Espacio Salud with a rigorous and preventive approach. The Foundation’s experience in health promotion and prevention has been key to offering practical, accessible recommendations tailored to the workplace.
