MMi Magazine Highlights Eiffage Energía Sistemas as a Key Industry Player

MMi, a specialized trade publication covering industrial assembly, maintenance, and services (Montajes, Mantenimientos y Servicios Industriales), has featured several major projects developed by Eiffage Energía Sistemas in its latest Special Report on Industrial Assembly, Maintenance, and Services. The feature spans everything from architectural lighting interventions to utility-scale energy storage infrastructure nationwide.

These initiatives involve multiple divisions within Eiffage Energía Sistemas, highlighting the cross-disciplinary versatility that defines the company and enables it to execute large-scale projects across diverse sectors.

Architectural Lighting: Innovation and Sustainability for Heritage Sites

One of the articles in this issue focuses on various architectural lighting projects—a field where Eiffage Energía Sistemas blends technical precision with creative vision to transform the visual profile of buildings and public spaces.

Landmarks such as the Cathedral of Albacete, the Valencia Bullring, and the Royal Palace of Madrid stand out as prime examples of urban space transformation and revitalization. Beyond their aesthetic impact, these lighting solutions enhance the value of architectural heritage, enrich the public realm, and actively contribute to lowering environmental impact.

The projects highlighted in the report demonstrate how a well-executed lighting scheme can redefine the visual identity of an urban environment while prioritizing energy efficiency.

Desay SV’s First European Factory, in Linares

The magazine also highlights the Group’s involvement in the electrical installations and lighting for the new Desay SV plant in Linares (Jaén).

This facility represents the first European manufacturing site for the Chinese firm, which specializes in display systems for the automotive industry—including LCD screens, OLED displays, and camera monitoring systems.

Construction is currently progressing toward a planned production rollout in 2026. The plant aims to reach an annual capacity of 1.5 million units while generating hundreds of direct and indirect jobs over the course of its construction.

Spain’s Largest Battery Energy Storage System, in Campo Arañuelo

MMi also covers Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ presence at the inauguration of the largest energy storage battery in Spain, located at the Campo Arañuelo photovoltaic complex in Cáceres, developed by Iberdrola.

With an installed capacity of 60 MW / 120 MWh, the facility enables solar energy storage for dispatch during peak demand hours.

Eiffage Energía Sistemas took part in the hybridization of the solar plant, integrating this storage infrastructure into the wider facility.

French Media Press Trip to Belinchón

The special report also highlights a visit by French media delegates to the Belinchón solar photovoltaic plant in Cuenca.

Organized by our parent company Eiffage through its Communications Department, the press tour gave ten journalists a firsthand look at one of Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ most significant EPC projects in the renewable energy sector.

The 150 MW facility was built entirely by Eiffage Energía Sistemas, including its substations and grid-connection export lines. The delegation observed firsthand the full scale and complexity of an infrastructure asset that powers thousands of homes while driving down CO₂ emissions.

Additional Featured Projects in the Industry Reference Directory

In its industry reference section, MMi selected three additional projects executed by the Group:

  • The first NxN Data Center in Valencia, a high-density facility engineered for artificial intelligence workloads, featuring 6 MVA of power capacity and a BREEAM Excellent rating, where Eiffage Energía Sistemas is delivering the electrical and mechanical installations.
  • The Roig Arena, Valencia’s new multi-purpose arena, where the Group, through Inelbo and SGAC, was responsible for the electrical systems and control infrastructure.
  • The EPC project for the Valle 3 and Valle 4 solar farms, another demonstration of the Group’s ability to deliver large-scale photovoltaic installations from start to finish.

The Group’s prominent inclusion in a report of this caliber reflects the breadth and reach of Eiffage Energía Sistemas across industrial operations, urban infrastructure, renewables, and technology—a track record that continues to leave its mark across specialized industry media.
